Go through these before you rage-quit.
Site permission: click the lock icon next to the address and make sure Notifications are allowed.
Do Not Disturb / Focus: turn it off, or check the notification center, where silent alerts end up.
System permission: your browser must be allowed to show notifications in Windows, macOS or Android settings.
Battery saver (Android): very aggressive savings can delay alerts. Exclude your browser if needed.
